About the 2027 BMW 4 Series
The 4 Series is BMW's two-door interpretation of the 3 Series, sold in three bodies from one price list. Starting MSRPs run from $51,200 for the 430i Gran Coupe to $77,200 for the M440i xDrive Convertible, with the M4 above that from $82,200. Two engines cover the range below M: a 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo four making 255 horsepower and a 3.0-liter M TwinPower Turbo inline-six making 386, both carrying a 48-volt mild-hybrid system for 2027. Rear-wheel drive is standard and xDrive is available on both. BMW of Napa Valley stocks across the range on Auto Mall Parkway in Fairfield, minutes off Interstate 80 and convenient to Vacaville, Vallejo and Napa.
The 48-volt system is the change worth knowing about this year, and on the six BMW counts up to 11 of its 386 horsepower as electric assist. Above the range sits the M4, from 473 to 523 horsepower with a six-speed manual on the base car, and alongside it the electric i4, which uses the Gran Coupe body and is rated for up to 333 miles.
